Today the workshop runs eight desktop 3D printers around the clock. The output is deceptively simple: boxes full of tiny articulated dragons, turtles, and octopuses, plus fidget toys, sensory items, and small learning tools. Each design is chosen for print reliability and play value — articulated animals that move without assembly, colorful fidgets that help children self-regulate in classrooms, and durable toys that survive everyday use.

The economics of the operation are a lesson in themselves. Each roll of filament is one kilogram of PLA, and one roll yields dozens of toys. In 2025, the group delivered more than 15,900 toys and even gave away 677 rolls of filament to other makers. Their website now counts over 11,000 toys delivered in 2026 so far, against a total production capacity of roughly 16,000 toys per year.

That capacity, however, is now dwarfed by demand. The nonprofit’s request form currently shows pending requests for more than 68,000 toys, and the group has had to publish a prioritization system: Fresno and Madera counties first, then neighboring Central Valley counties, then the rest of California.

On February 24, 2026, Bailey Parks, a Speech-Language Pathologist with Fresno Unified School District, posted a video about the fidget toys her students had received. “If you’re an educator in the Central Valley, you need to listen up because this is an awesome free resource,” she said in the video.
